My Experience
My experience in the graphic design world has gone a step further than just design itself. I am passionate about many aspects of graphic design, some of those being: social media, marketing, and photography. I have been given quite a few opportunities to expand my knowledge and get more experience in these areas, and those opportunities helped me grow so much! I cannot wait to see how my list of experience grows throughout the coming years.

UTM United Social Media Campaign 2023

I was given the opportunity to be the manager of UTM United's Social Media Campaign for the 2023 Student Government Association election season.

The campaign lasted a total of three weeks and consisted of me creating a social media calendar, designing graphics, taking headshots, editing photos, coming up with captions, advertising giveaways, posting 2-3 posts per day, creating ways to reach a larger audience, and creating a distinct, eye-catching brand for the organization.
​
This experience taught me the importance of consistency in design and branding. I paid very close attention to detail in my timeline, captions, hashtags, and more. I truly was able to grow in my knowledge of using graphic design and social media, collectively.
Taking on this job was so very rewarding and beneficial for me both as a graphic designer and person.
Video Editing Experience
Like I have said, I love to create and creating goes so much further than art for me. I have started to really love video editing and I have realized how it really changes the social media game. Not only this, but I have come to realize that my graphic design background really helps me in this area. I quickly pick up on the software and editing tools, which makes the process smooth and fun for me!

A word I would use to describe myself is definitely "trendy". Being in my 20's, it is easy for me to keep up with trends, as I am often the target audience. Along with this, I have learned that I must do this to be successful with my art. I have my own style, but I make sure to incorporate slang, popular colors, and trending content when I create.
